Bio

Carol Morken is a high-impact performance consultant with extensive experience in both business and psychological counseling. She holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an MSW from Jane Addams School of Social Work at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and is a licensed psychotherapist in the state of Illinois.

Carol is a certified clinical hypnotist with the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and a certified consulting hypnotist with the National Guild of Hypnosis.  She is also NLP certified and an EMDR practitioner.

Carol started out her career in the behavioral health field working at Forest Hospital and Loyola Medical Center. Subsequently, she held both training/organizational development and senior-level marketing roles in companies including A.T. Kearney, Synch-Solutions, Grenzebach Glier & Associates, Hyatt Hotels, United Press International and Kemper Financial Services.

After rising to the level of vice president of marketing, Carol made a career transition in keeping with her life-long interest in hypnosis and working with the unconscious mind.  In recent years, she has practiced psychotherapy, specializing in using hypnosis to enable people to overcome issues including anxiety, phobias, depression, eating disorders, PTSD, excessive anger, habits (e.g., smoking, nail biting), and Attention Deficit Disorder.

With a depth of expertise in using hypnosis for change, Carol has now made a transition back into the corporate sector, where she coaches people on a wide array of performance-related issues, including public speaking, leadership, decision making, sales performance, and project management.  Working with teams and individuals, she also teaches applications of hypnosis for enhancing intuition, creativity and innovation.
